How Makutet Planning & Booking Works
Makutet Planning Assistance
Makutet provides travel planning assistance — research, route structuring, suggestions and logistical help. Makutet is not a traditional package tour operator and does not automatically act as the organiser of a package. You remain in control of what you book and when.
Direct Supplier Bookings
For some services (for example, specialist fishing resorts), Makutet may direct you to book directly with the supplier. Makutet is not the supplier and is not a party to your booking with that supplier.
Affiliate Booking Services
For flights, accommodation, transfers, experiences, insurance and connectivity, Makutet connects you to established booking platforms through affiliate links. These are third-party services — your contract is with the booking platform, not Makutet. Makutet may earn a commission from some of these platforms at no extra cost to you.
Not a Package Organiser
Unless explicitly agreed in writing, Makutet does not act as the organiser of a travel package under applicable package travel regulations. Individual bookings are separate contracts between you and each supplier or booking platform. Makutet's role is planning assistance and connection to booking options.
Planning Fee
A small planning fee may apply for personalised planning assistance. This will be discussed and agreed before any work begins. The fee covers Makutet's time researching and structuring your journey — it does not include any bookings, which are made and paid for separately through the relevant booking platform or supplier.
