Thailand has three distinct seasons. The cool, dry season from November to February is the best time to visit most of the country. The south splits into two coasts — the Gulf side (Koh Samui, Koh Tao) and the Andaman side (Phuket, Krabi) — which have opposing rainy seasons, meaning good weather somewhere in the south is possible year-round.
