Best Time to Visit Chiang Rai

Peak Season (Nov-Feb): Cool, dry weather (12-25°C). Perfect for temple visits and countryside exploration. Peak tourist season but never as crowded as southern Thailand.
Hot Season (Mar-May): Very hot (30-40°C). Avoid March-April due to burning season pollution. May is better as rains begin.
Rainy Season (Jun-Oct): Afternoon showers, lush green landscapes, fewer tourists. Still visitable—rain isn't constant. Good shoulder season.
